Workshop Management

Universe maintains a fully equipped Workshop to effectively meet with the maintenance requirements of the customers. The Workshop is managed by a well qualified and experienced engineer under whom, a team of qualified Hardware Engineers and Technicians work to meet with the requirements of Universe’s clients.

The Workshop is located at Universe’s Headquarters in Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

Technical Library

Universe’s Technical Department maintains all the product manuals in a systematic fashion. The hard copies as well as CD-ROM versions of product specifications and operation manuals are stored as and when available. Being a Cisco Partner, Universe receives the updated CD-ROMs of all the Cisco product literature, monthly under the Priority Pack Literature Mailing Program that can be readily made available to the end-users upon request.

Demonstration Lab

Universe has a state-of-the-art demo lab facility at its Headquarters. The demo lab reflects the ‘technology specialization’ capabilities possessed by Universe and the expertise of its technical staff in making a logical presentation to potential customers. It provides opportunity to the clients’ to evaluate for themselves, the effectiveness of the technology they are seeking to deploy in their organizations.

Spare Parts Store, Access to Manufacturer’s Spare Parts Store in the Middle East & Europe
Universe has a fully automated Spare Parts Store to ensure that the product procurement and storage remains flawless. The exclusively developed In-House Software keeps track of the Spare Parts stock level of each type of products being procured and stored. The products stored can be tracked down using the Purchase Order (Local and Overseas), RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization for defective parts under warranty), and Sales Order & Delivery Order digits automatically assigned under this system. This helps Spare Parts Store Keeping updated and Systematic. The store is located in the 1st floor of Universe’s Headquarters in Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

It is Universe’s policy to store ample, genuine spare parts from the International market to satisfactorily meet with the maintenance / warranty services. Universe has arrangements to procure spare parts, if not available locally, from its major Partner M/s Cisco Systems’ Middle East Store House in Dubai and European Stores located in the Netherlands. Universe has contractual assignments with worldwide leading Couriers for fast and efficient shipment on a door-to-door basis for top urgent procurement of spare parts. Utilizing the Internet facilities, the shipment status is tracked down from Universe’s end as well. The constant monitoring thus ensures that the end-users receive the required spare parts, in times of emergency, well within the required time frame.
