Universe Secures A Nationwide Ministerial Network Infrastructure Convergence Contract
Kuwait, jan. 2008 - Universe Computers KSCC (Universe) has proved its Technical and Commercial Supremacy in the local market once again by securing another prestigious project entitled Kuwait Information Network (KIN) Project, under The Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT). Upon implementation, this project will provide a High Speed, Flexible, Redundant, Full Tolerant, Secure, Expandable, Multi-protocol and Open-standards based Governmental dedicated Converged Network in the State of Kuwait. This highly sophisticated, yet user friendly network would integrate all Government Computer Networks under one infrastructure for the purpose of Information Security, Data Sharing, Process Automation, Application Integration and Online Services.
Universe’s Network Design Team has taken up this challenging project joining hands with
Universe’s strategic partners Cisco Systems whose product-line are to be deployed in KIN. The solution is based on Cisco 15400 Series MSTP platform, Cisco XR 12000 Series Cisco Router for MPLS core functionality and Cisco 7600 Series Edge Routers which will provide technologies that allows the client to implement the different services required at the Optical Level.
